1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (SeeBATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF].)
2. Remove the following parts:a. Trunk end trim (See TRUNK END TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)b. Partition board (See PARTITION BOARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)c. Trunk side trim (See TRUNK SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)d. Rear combination lights (See REAR COMBINATION LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)e. Rear bumper (See REAR BUMPER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. Remove the nuts, then remove the rear bumper reinforcement.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
